Coordinated by the CDSE, Stop Mobbing is a national programme for the prevention, awareness, and intervention against bullying in schools, as well as for improving classroom climate. It primarily targets primary education starting from Cycle 3. The team intervenes upon a school’s request — either when bullying is suspected or when the classroom climate needs improvement. Interventions are based on mediation techniques, awareness-raising sessions with pupils, and pedagogical guidance for staff. The approach is systemic and non-blaming, aiming to strengthen group cohesion, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. The programme also promotes collective responsibility and the development of empathy.
