The pupil in distressThe CDSE primarily supports pupils enrolled in Luxembourg who are experiencing socio-emotional, behavioural or relational difficulties. These difficulties may manifest as psychological suffering, social withdrawal, behavioural disorders, school disengagement or adjustment problems. The aim is to foster the pupil's well-being, global development and continued inclusion in an educational setting.

2.
Educational and professional teamsThe CDSE supports teams in primary and secondary schools (teachers, educators, ESEB, SePAS, Inclusion Commissions) in analysing complex situations, developing educational strategies and implementing appropriate support measures. The CDSE also offers training sessions and spaces for professional reflection.

Parents and legal guardiansFamilies may benefit from counselling, information and support in understanding their child’s difficulties, as well as in their role as partners in the educational process. The CDSE also provides awareness-raising and exchange sessions aimed at parents.

Partners in the psycho-social-educational networkThe CDSE works closely with services and institutions involved in supporting children and adolescents with specific needs: psychological-medical services, care structures, social services, “maison relais” and others.
